    Amber Minor is a leader within the Fair Trade Schools Program, having achieved the designation for the school at which she teaches – McKay Public School in Port Colborne, ON - in June 2016. The school’s commitment to Fairtrade is very impressive, and they won the Canadian Fairtrade Award for best Fair Trade School the same year.

    The 13th annual Vancouver International Soccer Festival took place July 7-9. A designated Fair Trade Event since 2013, and the only ongoing Fair Trade sporting event in Canada, the VISF is a great example of collaboration between Fairtrade Canada licensees and Fair Trade Programs.

  • University of Ottawa has new Fairtrade ancillary information in 6 locations

Since then, they have been actively promoting fair trade by holding initiatives such as Muggy Mondays or by participating in Fair Trade Campus Week.
