How much does it cost?

Application Fee

There is a initial $600 application fee to register with Fairtrade Canada. This application fee is non-refundable.

Licensees

Licensees (operators who apply the Fairtrade or Fair Trade Certified Mark) pay quarterly license fees, which are based on the volume or value of sales. The cost of regular Fairtrade Canada audits are included in these fees. Costs for follow-up audits or the late cancellation of a scheduled audit are not included. Traders

Traders (operators who trade Fairtrade certified products before the Mark is applied) pay an annual fee to be registered with Fairtrade Canada and pay for all audits.
