But wait, there's more! Not only can you use it to find Fair Trade, you can also add your favourite shops, cafes and restaurants yourself (no need to wait for us!)

Still not enough for you? Well it wasn't enough for us either, so we created a little widget that allows anyone to run the Finder from their very own blogs and websites too.

What Brings Big Business to Fair Trade?

Alison Ward It was the village of Bipoa in the Kumasi region of Ghana which helped provide the inspiration for the Cadbury Dairy Milk move to Fair Trade. Bipoa is set in the heart of Ghana’s cocoa growing area in the Kumasi region of Ghana.

I travelled to Bipoa in December 2008 with Martin Hill from the Fairtrade Foundation and Nicolas Adjei-Gyan from Kuapa Kokoo, a Fair Trade co-operative of farmers. Bipoa looks like many other cocoa villages and again, like so many, is reached by a dusty red road....

Kuapa Kokoo

Kuapa Kokoo is an association of more than 45,000 farmers from 300 village societies in Ghana. In 2006, Kuapa joined the Fair Trade system. As a result, a minimum price and a premium (intended for social and economic projects) are now paid to Fair Trade farmers....

Fair Trade Popularity Grows in 2009

Sales of Fairtrade certified products increased 15 per cent in 2009, according to the global Fairtrade body, Fairtrade Labelling Organizations International (FLO).
