We work with traders to become Fairtrade certified and source certified products for import to Canada, by supporting supply chain transparency and helping them to build long-lasting relationships with farmers and workers.
We provide strong account management support to almost 350 Canadian brand manufacturers looking to make a difference by using Fairtrade ingredients. Licensee fees from the use of the FAIRTRADE Mark on packaging go directly into supporting field-based programs that drive impact for farming communities
We work with over 1,700 retailers committed to ensuring consumers have access to ethically sourced products in their local communities. We also partner with retailers and food-service providers to educate consumers about fair trade through campaigns, free point-of-sale materials, and other programs.

Fairtrade helps farmers to grow with us. We are only interested in using coffee that is good and fair for both our coffee drinkers and for farmers. We believe we can’t have one without the other.

We believe in an economic philosophy that is respectful and a show of solidarity, which is why we have been offering Fairtrade certified coffees for over 20 years now. This initiative based on the quality of our beans and the relationship with producers is a reflection of our ethical commitment and our involvement in the coffee supply chain.

Fairtrade was a simple decision when I launched Jumping Bean Coffee – we are a small business built on a foundation of service before self; we understand the need to support a means for greater equity in developing countries and have committed to this since inception.
Equifruit
Equifruit Inc. is a Quebec-based importer of Fairtrade-certified fruit, serving conscientious Canadians in Ontario and Quebec. Our business is based on values: transparency and traceability, putting people first and building strong communities. A fruit is certified Fairtrade when both buyers and sellers meet stringent requirements on price, social premium, and labour conditions.

Partnering with Fairtrade Canada on the supply of our organic cotton ensures we take ethical sourcing further up the supply chain and beyond the immediate finished product manufacturer. On the preferred material & fibers sustainability continuum, Fairtrade Organic Cotton is ahead of Organic Cotton. Partnering with Fairtrade Canada to offer this ethically sourced fibre in our product mix seemed the logical next step for tentree.
